Pursuant to the official call for the Democratic Party of New Mexico (DPNM) Spring 2025 State Central Committee (SCC) meeting, to be held Saturday, April 26, 2025, I am writing to provide you with the call to the Santa Fe County Central Committee meeting.
We are required by DPNM Rules to hold a County Central Committee (CCC) meeting and elections in odd-numbered years for the purposes of electing county party officers and DPNM State Central Committee (SCC) members to represent our county.
As part of this year’s CCC meeting and elections, we will elect the county chair and two vice-chairs and 56 SCC members.
- Our CCC meeting will be held on Saturday, April 5, at Monte del Sol Charter School, 4157 Walking Rain Rd, Santa Fe, NM 87507. The meeting will be called to order at noon.
- Registration begins at 10:00 a.m. and ends at noon.
Agenda:
- Reading of the call
- Report from the county chair on activities over the last two years
- Report of the Credentials Committee and vote to accept
- Election of the county party chair
- Election of county party 1st vice-chair (per DPNM rules, the county party 1st vice-chair must be of a different gender identity than the chair)
- Election of county party 2nd vice-chair (per DPNM rules, the county party 2nd vice-chair must be of a different gender identity than the 1st vice-chair)
- Election of 54 additional SCC members (chair and 1st vice-chair are automatic members); 2 SCC members must be elected from Congressional District 1 (CD1) and 54 from Congressional District 3 (CD3) (Gender balance is required – the variance between elected SCC members who self-identify as female and those who self-identify as male must be zero (0) or (1). This is a DNC requirement.)
