Today is the last day to register to vote in November’s midterm election. You can register or check your registration at NMvote.org or at the County Clerk’s office on 102 Grant Avenue, Santa Fe. Registration closes at 5 pm. Today is also the first day for absentee in-person voting, which extends through November 3, 8 am – 5 pm. This means you can go to the County Clerk’s office and fill out your ballot. You do not need to provide a reason to vote absentee in-person.

You can also vote absentee by mail. Submit your request as early as possible to ensure sufficient turnaround time. The last day the County Clerk can send out Absentee Ballots is Friday, November 2.  Click here to request an Absentee Ballot Application online or call the County Clerk’s office at 505-986-6280 for an application.

Early voting at convenience centers around Santa Fe County will be October 20 – November 3, 12 noon – 8 pm Tuesday through Friday, and 10 am – 6 pm Saturday (no early voting on Mondays). Here are the early voting sites:

  • Edgewood Elementary School – 285 Dinkle Road, Edgewood

  • Pojoaque County Satellite Office – 5 W. Gutierrez, Ste. 9, Pojoaque Pueblo Plaza
  • Santa Fe County Fair Building – 3229 Rodeo Road, Santa Fe
