Mueller Protection Rapid Response @ Santa Fe Railyard (Water Tower)
Nov 8 @ 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm

Join the rapid response protest in Santa Fe at the Railyard (Water Tower), THURSDAY, Nov. 7, at 5 pm.

By replacing Rod Rosenstein with just-named Acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker as special counsel Robert Mueller’s boss on the investigation, Trump has undercut the independence of the investigation. Whitaker has publicly outlined strategies to stifle the investigation and cannot be allowed to remain in charge of it. The Nobody Is Above the Law network demands that Whittaker immediately commit not to assume supervision of the investigation.

This is our moment to stand up to protect our democracy. Please join us.

National Popular Vote Forum with NM Senator Mimi Stewart @ Unitarian Universalist Santa Fe, Fogelson Hall
Nov 10 @ 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Do you want your vote to count in the 2020 U.S. presidential election? Then get ready now:

National Popular Vote Public Forum

with New Mexico Senator Mimi Stewart

Saturday, November 10, 2:00 – 4:00 pm

Unitarian Universalist Santa Fe, Fogelson Hall

107 W. Barcelona Road, Santa Fe

All eyes will be focused on New Mexico during the 2019 legislative session. Why? Eleven states and the District of Columbia already have successfully enacted the National Popular Vote into law, and now New Mexico will move into the national spotlight as our state works to get the bill passed.

The National Popular Vote is an integral part of the Democratic Party of Santa Fe County’s official platform and will guarantee the U.S. presidency to the candidate who receives the most popular votes in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

Don’t miss this chance to learn more from New Mexico Senator Mimi Stewart and some of her fellow legislators.

To further familiarize yourself with the National Popular Vote before or after the November 10 event, please visit the National Popular Vote-New Mexico website: www.nationalpopularvotenm.org

The free forum is hosted by the League of Women Voters of Santa Fe County and open to the general public. Seating will be limited, so plan to arrive early.
