In addition to meeting Claudia, we will ALSO chat with our Judicial District-1 Candidates for District Attorney, Mary Carmack-Altwies & Scott Fuqua. We will discuss strategies and formulate plans to constructively help them (and other Democratic candidates) have successful campaigns in our area and win their elections.

In November the Democratic presidential primary debates coincide with our general monthly meeting. We’ll gather at 5:30 pm at the Center for Progress and Justice on 1420 Cerrillos Road for a watch party. Please a dish to share.
The fifth Democratic presidential debate will take place in the Atlanta area, and will be hosted by MSNBC and The Washington Post. Since the criteria for making the stage is significantly tougher than that of past debates, the pool of candidates who’ll participate is expected to narrow some.
As of mid-October, only eight candidates have qualified, compared to the 12 who took part in October’s debate. The candidates who have met the polling and donor thresholds are:
The DPSFC does not endorse any candidates in the Democratic Primary Elections. All CD-3 candidates will be invited to speak at a ward meeting.
