Monthly Forum: Climate Action – Local Options
Join us for the first in a series of discussions on climate crisis. This forum will focus on policy actions that we can take in New Mexico at the state, county and local levels. Participants include Matthew McQueen, State Representative for District 50 and Chair of the House Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Committee; Bill McCamley, Secretary of the New Mexico Workforce Development Department; Anna Hansen, Commissioner on the Santa Fe County Commission; and Shirlene Sitton, Director of the City of Santa Fe’s Environmental Services Division.

National Center for Lesbian Rights (NCLR) and New Mexico Legal Aid (NMLA) are partnering to host a Rural Pride Summit in New Mexico. The summit will be September 19th-20th at SOMOS in Taos.
Thursday 9/19 we will start at 10am and go until 4pm (lunch provided), and Friday 9/20 we will start at 9am and go to 1pm (breakfast provided).
